The field of human resources is of critical importance. The HR Continuum brings forth the multitude aspects of HR across different sectors by creating a platform to discuss and nurture the most important resource i.e. the human capital.

 

Theme for HR Continuum 2009:

 

Today companies are in a critical juncture trying to either make their presence felt in the market or consolidate their existing hold. Their HR departments are also faced with certain challenges like proficient management of the available talent pool, harnessing their capabilities and utilizing their efforts optimally.

 

It is in this context, that Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management, IIT Bombay brings forth “HR Continuum 2009” with the theme “Managing talent for strategic advantage”.  It thrives to carry forward the legacy and lay down a new benchmark in the series of Continuums.


The HR Continuum 2009 will be held on 27 September 2009. The day-long event will feature sessions covering an exhaustive list of topics and will bring together top notch industry personnel, students from various B-schools and students from other disciplines at IIT Bombay. The agenda also includes a panel discussion bringing forth the views and learnings of eminent business leaders and academia on "Human resource: The key to success in dynamic times".
